Hagene, et al v. County of Riverside

Obtained early dismissal of a purported employee benefits class action. A group of several thousand temporary employees who provided service to the County of Riverside through the County's temporary employee employment pool, filed a class action seeking retroactive enrollment in CalPERS and the County's local employee benefit programs. Achieved early dismissal of all claims related to employee benefits on the grounds the employees did not hold regular positions that had been created, approved and funded by the County.
